Scholarship Description: Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the DSTSERC FAST Track project entitled “H2 storage and fuel cell materials for renewable energy: Fundamental study on metal hybrid nanostructures” under the supervision of undersigned. The selected candidate is possible to register for Ph.D. program as per existing institute rules. The aim of the project is to explore and manipulate the size, morphology and chemical environment of hybrid nanostructures with the goal of optimizing their H2 storage and O2 reactivity for mobile technology.
Eligibility: M.Sc. in Chemistry with 60% marks (or 6.5 grade point out of 10) with valid GATE score or CSIR/UGC NET qualified candidates are eligible to apply.
Desirable Qualification: Programming skills, knowledge of unix-based environment, familiarity with computational packages like G09, CFOUR, VASP etc.
