Eligibility:The Scholarship will be awarded to a student undertaking a Postgraduate degree in Political Studies at The University of Auckland where the research is related to the study of Marxism- Leninism Scientific Socialism or research in areas concerning the history, philosophy and practice of socialism.
-The basis of selection will be academic merit as determined by the Selection Committee.
-The availability of appropriate supervision by Political Studies academic staff for the proposed research project will also be a consideration in selection.
-The Scholarship is tenable by a student who is a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of New Zealand.
