Scholarship Description: The announced position is situated at the Department of Philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy and Education. The department is by international comparison capacious and can therefore resort to multifaceted skills by its members of staff. The successful candidate will actively collaborate in research, teaching and administration at the Department of Philosophy in the field of Practical Philosophy. The professorship for Ethics with special emphasis on Applied Ethics of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Angela Kallhoff covers frontier-research in Practical Philosophy and Applied Ethics including the following areas of work: System and History of Ethics, basic questions of Practical Philosophy and Applied Ethics. The main goal of this position will be to produce a Dissertation ready for publishing within the field respectively foci of research mentioned above.
