Scholarship Description: Department of Food Science, Faculty of Life Sciences at University is offering a PhD scholarship commencing 1st September or soon thereafter. of Copenhagen Project description The PhD project is part of the SensWell project financed by the Strategic Research Council under the FØSU programme. SensWell is a collaboration between a consortium of three universities in Denmark and a number of Food companies. The PhD project will focus on sensory aspects of foods (flavour and texture) in relation to perceived food satisfaction. Foods with a greater sensory satisfaction are expected to help reducing food intake. Part of the PhD work is planned in collaboration with Unilever Research, Vlaardingen, the Netherlands and the candidate should be prepared for a placement at Unilever Research. The successful applicant should have qualifications in one or more of the following areas: Food Science, Sensory Science, Human Nutrition and Experimental Psychology.
