Eligibility:
Preferred type of education would be M Sc in Industrial Management and Engineering (I), Mechanical Engineering (M) or similar education with specialisation in logistics. (Also 2 year Master programs in logistics, purchasing or supply chain management would be relevant). For the area ”Logistics and Business Law” some education with in Swedish Law is desirable, for the other areas education within Purchasing is desirable.

Scholarship Description: One PhD-student will be recruited to the area Performance based contracting, but possible might another be hired for one of the other areas. The duty will be in the following areas: – Performance-Based Contracting (outcome based contracting) The area studies relations between organizations where the contract focuses on outcomes and outputs (what is to be achieved) rather than resources and processes required to achieve outcomes (what is needed and how to do it). An example from practice is purchasing of aircraft engine availability (Power by the Hour). Research will focus on performance specification and management, risk transfer and handling, incentive alignment and supplier innovation.
